Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into your shopping basket by clicking on the 'order' button. After you have finished your selection, click on "View Your Cart " and you will be asked to enter your name and address and payment details so that we can process your order.

Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card - in British Pounds Sterling. You can also send your card payment information via phone, snail mail or over the Internet (please do not send your credit card details via email as it is not a secure method of sending this kind of information - please use the shopping cart checkout for this purpose as it is secure).

Prices

We endeavour to keep the web site as up to date as possible but prices can be subject to change without prior notice.

Shipping and Handling
Packages are sent via Royal Mail with proof of posting obtained.

Heavier (exceeding 2kg) or more valuable packages are sent via Parcel Force so that they may be insured. This service, however, can take between 3-5 days.

If you require any other form of posting please note this in the special requests section of the order form, but be aware that further charges may apply.

In the unlikely event that your goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. If, upon receipt of your goods, the packaging is in any way damaged, then contact the Post Office immediately. You will need to keep the packaging and/or to take photographs as evidence for your claim. You may contact us for a copy of the proof of posting to assist your claim.

We obtain a proof of posting for every package mailed and will assist you in any way we can, but you will need to make a claim for loss from the post office.

Please note that no responsibility is accepted for goods damaged in transit or for the non-delivery of items.

Postage will be charged at cost, and will be added to your order at the time of processing.

THERE IS A MINIMUM ORDER OF £10.

If you have any special delivery requirements, please phone us first with your instructions so that we can confirm the shipping details. These extra services will be charged 'at cost'.

Delivery Schedule
We aim to always have enough items in stock to send out your order immediately. Any orders received will be dispatched within 48 hours of receiving the order unless items are out of stock in which case you will be e-mailed and asked whether you wish to back order or cancel your order.

Tax Charges
All the prices you see include VAT at 17.5%.

All on-line payments are made using secure on-line payment facilities.

Katy's Corner does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket, once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

We request your name, address, e-mail and telephone numbers only to enable us to provide you with an efficient after-sales service, but we will not pass your name and address to any third parties.

Credit card details are not stored on any sites.

Returns Policy
Please contact Katy's Corner to let us know you are returning an order.

There are two policies which Katy's Corner will honour. The first is the 'Katy's Corner Policy' and the second is the 'By Law' policy.

Katy's Corner Policy
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return any item to Katy's Corner in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received your order. The goods which are returned must be unopened and unused (with any tape, fastening or shrink-wrap intact, this will act as proof of non usage). A full refund will be given on receipt of the goods as long as the returned items are in the exact condition in which they were sent out to the customer. If any seals have been broken then the items will be classed as damaged goods on the customer's part. Any orders received after the 7 days will not be reimbursed. You do, however, have the option of your items being resent to you (postage to be paid by the customer) or to receive a Katy's Corner Gift Voucher for the same value as your returned items for up to 21 days after receipt of your original order.
PLEASE NOTE: we will only accept the return of opened goods if they are faulty or an order error on our part. Postage on these returns will be paid by Katy's Corner (including Recorded Delivery charges).

No other delivery service charges will be paid for by Katy's Corner at any time.

By Law Policy
By law, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days from the day after the date the item is delivered to you.

How to Cancel
To cancel your purchase during the 7 day cooling off period, please send a letter to us, along with the invoice which accompanies your items, giving the reason for the return as "Contract cancellation". Please pack any unopened item securely and send it to us with the delivery slip/invoice enclosed. The goods should be back at Katy's Corner within 7 working days of you receiving your order. This will be calculated by ourselves as 8 working days from the date we posted the package first class to you. We reserve the right to use Katy's Corner calculations in this instance.

For your protection, we recommend that you use the Special delivery service as we can not reimburse your account without receiving the items back first. Once the items have been returned and checked, we will then credit your account. We will refund the purchase price of the returned item, but not postage and packing.
